AIPMO’s mission is to advance the understanding, design and implementation of high performing single, group and enterprise PMOs, through the certification of proven international PMO (IPMO) capabilities based on its AIPMO-IPMO Body of Knowledge.

The AIPMO Practitioner Board is responsible for

  • AIPMO architecture thinking and Body Of Knowledge content approach
  • Body Of Knowledge content creation
  • Supporting the review process of the standard and/or supplementary guides
  • Producing the PMO Practitioner book updating it every 4-5 years
  • Producing articles and other content on PMOs
  • PMO Community leaders
  • Speakers at conferences
  • Creating and giving webinars on PMO topics

GEOFFREY DAWSON

Head of the Practitioner Council – MBA, BBus, FIML, PMP®, IPMO-ACE, RegPM CPPP, MCSA, MCT, MACS (Snr) CP, IP3P and a consultant, academic and innovative professional with more than 15 years’ work experience in Project Management incorporating Corporate Level Strategic Planning, Business and Functional Planning to support Strategic Business goals.

Geoffrey Dawson MBA, BBus, FIML, PMP®, IPMO-ACE, RegPM CPPP, MCSA, MCT, MACS (Snr) CP, IP3P is a consultant academic and innovative professional with more than 15 years’ work experience in General Management, ICT Management, Project Management incorporating Corporate Level Strategic Planning, Business and Functional Planning to support Strategic Business goals, PMO Implementation & Management, Business Security, Risk Management & Compliance, Organisational Change Management / Change Control, Communication / Stakeholder & Vendor Management, Interdependency Resolution, Financial Budgeting & Cost Control, Project Human Resource Management, Quality Management / Process Design, Development and Improvement, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Management, IS/IT HSE & OSH Management and HR Training & Development in support level 3 Portfolio / Program / Project Management environments with exposure within Oil & Gas, Mining, Government, Education, General Commercial, and Not-for-Profit environments with engagements within global multi-nationals, and as contracted employee of both Federal and State Government Departments and incorporated agencies, and general Small to Medium Enterprises.

EILEEN RODEN

15 years practitioner experience in a variety of project management roles (predominantly PMO management) along with IT and functional HR roles, with a variety of UK, EMEA, and global responsibilities. She works with Boards, Executives, Sponsors, Project Managers, Project Teams and PMOs to improve their program and project delivery capability.

Eileen works with Boards, Executives, Sponsors, Project Managers, Project Teams and PMOs to improve their program and project delivery capability. Her approach ensures that a pragmatic approach is taken to program and project delivery, grounded in research and best practice, tailored to suit the culture and maturity of the organization. She works across a wide range of industry sectors including transport, defense, financial services, pharmaceuticals, defense, utilities, and the public sector.

Eileen has 15 years practitioner experience in a variety of project management roles (predominantly PMO management) along with IT and functional HR roles, with a variety of UK, EMEA, and global responsibilities. Her practical experience is supported by both academic and professional certifications including a Masters in Applied Project Management (with distinction), AIPMO-E, PRINCE2®, MSP®, MoP®, Managing Benefits®, Better Business Cases®, Program and Project Sponsorship®. She is now a Consulting Director of PMO Learning, AIPMO’s UK partner.

She is the Author of P3O® Best Management Practice and co-author of AIPMO’s PMO Principles, Knowledge Management in a Project Environment, along with a contribution to many APM publications.  She is a frequent conference speaker throughout UK and Europe.”

MARK PRICE PERRY

He is the founder of BOT International, a boutique PMO Content Asset firm started in 1999. Prior to BOT International, Mr. Perry had a 17 year career with IBM including positions in the IBM AS/400 Division as Telecommunications Industry Manager based in New York, Asia Pacific Channels Manager based in Tokyo, and the General Manager for Southeast and South Asia based in Singapore.

Mr. Perry is the founder of BOT International, a boutique PMO Content Asset firm started in 1999. Following IBM, Mr. Perry was the Managing Director of Singapore based Saville Systems Asia Pacific and later the Vice President of Entrust Greater China.
